A timeless sour cocktail combining bourbon with fresh lemon juice and simple syrup. The optional egg white adds a luxurious silky texture and beautiful foam.

    Add all ingredients except bitters to a shaker without ice

  2. 2

    Dry shake vigorously for 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white

  3. 3

    Add ice and shake again for another 15 seconds

  4. 4

    Double strain into a rocks glass with one large ice cube

  5. 5

    Add drops of bitters on top of the foam and drag a toothpick through for design

Pro Tips

The egg white is optional but highly recommended. For vegans, aquafaba (chickpea water) works as a substitute.
