The Cosmopolitan is currently seeking a daytime bartender (Tuesday-Friday 10:30am-5pm) who is available to work
2-4 Saturday nights per months. The ideal candidate will be a strong bartender with serving experience, have a
strong food and wine background and have a positive attitude.
We are also hiring cocktail servers/bottle service servers. An ideal candidate will have a positive upbeat
attitude, strong cocktail and food knowledge and be able to adapt to a club atmosphere as well as serve in our fine
establishment. This person MUST be available to work every Saturday evening as well as a few weeknights.

Job Description: Bartender is responsible for maintaining bar area, prepare and take drink and food orders for
guests in bar area, and prepare drink orders for servers. Stock bar with liquor, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and
other incidentals as needed. In addition to maintaining the bar, bartender is responsible for retrieving food from
kitchen and ensure proper food presentation following set standards. The bartender will also be responsible to
pick-up and drop off cash bank at every shift. Prepare and close the bill (check) for only the bar guest. Balance
cash receipts at the end of shift. Complete deposit revenue in safe box. Ensure sanitary measures and follow all
health, safety guidelines during preparation of all food items. Performs related responsibilities as required or
assigned.
General Minimum Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience in related field required. Knowledge of bar, food,
wine, and beverage operations with bartending and extensive guest interaction. Knowledge of classic and modern
mixed drinks. Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively with team members, perform basic mathematic
computations and complete standard forms. Handle high volume pressure with ability to work quickly and efficiently
and remain motivated and gracious. Requires strong communication, interpersonal and guest service skills. Required
to stand, lift, push, pull, and regularly lift and/or or carry in excess of 25 pounds. Must be able to work a
flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays.

The drinks are: Long Island Iced Tea, Margarita, Corona & Bud Light.
You will be scored on the following (but not limited to) appearance, personality, ability to prepare and present
drinks. If the judges are bored, you will not even be given 15 minutes.
Wrap up: 5 Minutes. We will ask you a few questions at this time and make a decision weather or not to pass you
along to stage 2.
Stage 2
Take the BHI and do interviews with the following people: Bar Manager, General Manager and Director of
Operations
Stage 3
Background check. If everything passes, we will make you an offer.
